keep in mind that im 20 almost 21 AND have my license for the past 2 years
Me: Mom can I take the car to *insert place*
Mom: no because you cant drive
Me: well will you let me drive

So i practiced all summer driving AND have driven around in the big city
Me: mom im so confident, im ready...will you let me go driving
Mom: no i dont think so
Me: Why?
Mom: because im nervous
My head: BITCH YOUR NOT GONNA BE IN THE CAR WITH ME!!!!
Me: please i really want to, i can do this
Mom: no, i dont think so, just wait til you get your own car
(to which i have to pay for completely out of my own pocket with absolutely no help from either of my parents at all and since im a student the only work i can do is part time, not enough for a car+gas+insurance+maintenance+my phone bill, that im already paying for on my own)
Me: well mom i want to look into getting a car, can you recommend a plan i should lean toward or a dealer?
Mom: no i dont know
Me: mom i really need some help right now, this is how much i make a month, any suggestions at all?
Mom: no, i dont know
